Neighbourhood

For motorsport enthusiasts, the Isle of Man TT course passes nearby, with famous spectator spots such as the Sulby Straight and The Ginger Hall Hotel just minutes away on foot and by car.

For walkers and nature lovers, Carrick Beg is in the heart of Sulby’s stunning countryside surrounded by dairy cows and regular birds of prey. Travel a little further and explore a range of walks in the north of the island. Experience miles of beaches right up to the tip of the island at The Point of Ayre and The Ayres National Nature Reserve. There is also some unexpected wildlife to explore in The Curraghs, where you can explore the wetlands and its' resident wallabies!

Ramsey is a 10 minute drive away, where you can find two supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, cafes and shops. You can also visit the various attractions in Ramsey, including Mooragh Park with its excellent leisure facilities and The Manx Electric Railway, on which you can take a trip back in time on the Victorian carriages and ride to Douglas or Snaefell via Laxey.

Transport

There is a bus stop approximately 1 mile from Carrick Beg at the Ginger Hall pub where busses travel in both the Peel and Ramsey direction.
